Purpose

The steps necessary to close a project.

    Main Description

    Once a project has been determined to be complete, the project will need to be updated to indicate such. Closed means the project has been approved by the Customer or Program Manager to close. This task will close the project and update all needed documentation.

    Steps

    Update Project
    1. Enter the Actual Completion Date.
    2. Update all actual costs in the Financial Summary.
    3. Update the Staffing Profile Status to Completed.
    4. Make sure all tasks in the WorkPlan Tab are marked Complete.
    5. Upload the final CBA to the project on the References Tab.
    6. Create a final note with the actual cost of the project.
    7. Select the Request Closure button on the Project Details Tab.
