Purpose

To add a new service into the OMES Service Catalog.

Steps

Describe Service
When a request has caused a new service to be added to the Agency Services Database, the Customer Account Representative must define the service description data, as obtained from the service owner. This information should include all relevant data including, but not limited to, Product and Category.
Request Technical Additions
Upon obtaining the service description data from service owners, the Customer Account Representative should request to have the new service added to the CRM by the CRM Technician, and request to have the new Service Code created by the ABS. After the requests have been made, the service is to be added to the Agency Services Database.
Update CRM
Upon receiving a request from the Customer Account Representative, the CRM Technician should update the CRM with Service Data.
Create Service Code
Upon receiving the request from the Customer Account Representative, the ABS should create a new Service Code in PeopleSoft Time and Labor.
Determine Service Advertisement
Once the Customer Account Representative adds the service to the Agency Services Database, the Customer Account Representative should determine if the service should be advertised in the service catalog for future use. If so, the Customer Account Representative should request an update of the published Service Catalog from the Communications group in OMES, who should then add the service to the published Service Catalog.
